Valentine's Day Gifts - Cowgirl Chocolates Giveaway

I was recently lucky enough to not only receive a sampler of delicious Cowgirl Chocolates, but to also win a Cowgirl Chocolates giveaway on another blog.

To my surprise, I had chocolate in my mailbox the very next day.  My Cowgirl Chocolates were mailed the same day of contact, both times.
Granted, I only live about 1 1/2 hours away from the Cowgirl Chocolates riding arena.  But the fact that they are so quick to package and ship their tasty chocolates is highly impressive.

The first thing I noticed about my chocolates was the cute packaging.  Each package was tied with a ribbon and included a little charm.

I'll admit that the packaging was so cute that I almost didn't want to open them.  In the end, the tempting Cowgirl Chocolates on the inside won the battle.

Cowgirl Chocolates will give your taste buds a kick!  They come in several mouth-watering flavors; including mild and spicy flavors. From truffles (what I got to sample) to caramels to candy bars to gift baskets!

Each chocolate truffle comes in a brightly colored wrapper, each color represents a unique flavor.  A few of the flavors I was lucky enough to taste were: spicy raspberry dark chocolate, spicy cappuccino, mild raspberry lemon and mild double dark chocolate.

They were all amazing delicious, even the spicy ones.  I'm not a "spicy" kind of girl, but I was pleasantly surprised by the spicy truffles.  A little bit of spice and the perfect amount of sweet!  It's a toss up, but I think the raspberry lemon was my favorite.

Cowgirl Chocolates has won a total of 19 product awards and 2 packaging awards and is located in Moscow, Idaho. They have also been featured on the Food Network on “Unwrapped” and “Extreme Cuisine” and on CNBC “On the Money”. They have also been written up in the New York Times, InStyle Magazine and the Toronto Star among several  others.

Cowgirl Chocolates happens to be located at the 1/2  way point  from my house to my parents house.  I told my husband and the head cowgirl, that next time we go to my parents house that we are going to have to stop by their retail store.
