My Favorite PEEPS Moment!

The Easter Bunny is going to be hopping into town soon.  We all know that whether you love them or hate them, PEEPS are sure to find their way to your house around Easter time!  Whenever I see them at the store, I always have to buy some - it never fails.

I remember as a kid, we always had PEEPS in our Easter baskets. After waking up and finding our baskets at home we would make the trip to my grandparents house.  Waiting for us there were more PEEPS, in different colors.  As I grew older, I realized that they were my grandma's favorite Easter candy and that's why she always had them!

With so many cute PEEPS and bright colors, you can't help but feel like Spring is in the air.  Regardless of what the weather is doing outside.  PEEPS mean the beginning of warm weather, egg hunts and so much more.

My favorite PEEPS moments are centered around my two wonderful children.  Since they have been born, every holiday is all about them.  Watching the fun and excitement through their eyes is always magical.  As adults, we often forget to take time to enjoy the small things in life.  My son and daughter take me back to a simpler time and make me realize exactly what is most important.

My husband loves to take an entire package of PEEPS and blow them up in the microwave.  You should hear the kids "ooooh and awwww" with excitement and amazement.  How BIG can PEEPS get??  We may never know but they always have fun experimenting.

I think my daughter has always loved how cute and colorful PEEPS are rather than what they taste like.  She always chooses her PEEPS based on how cute and fluffy they are. The color differs each and every single time she picks.  I know she has specific things she looks for and it's so cute to watch her through the thought process.

My son is an entirely different story.  He could care less about the color, cuteness or fluffiness.  As long as he get to eat them and bite their little heads off, he's happy.  Boys and girls are different on so many levels, making each of them a joy to watch!

PEEPS Smores are one of my favorite treats.  They give the original smores a little sweeter flavor and a hint of color.  Not only are they delicious but they are fun (and creative) treats to eat.  Whether we are having a bonfire in the back yard or roasting PEEPS over a campfire in the woods, they are sure to put a smile on everyone's face!

Smores + PEEPS = Smeeps for a Sweet Treat!

I love the fact that Peeps come in all different colors! I usually use them to decorate Easter Cupcakes! They look so cute on top of them!
