Silly Band Factory Review and Giveaway - 3 Winners

As a kid I remember how popular the brightly colored jelly bracelets were.  All the girls wore them and exchanged them with their friends.  Heck, I even remember some of the boys wearing them.  I also remember that you could wrap and twist them a certain way so you could have two different colors together.  And how there was a special way to make it so one of them would wrap around your write while the other around a finger.  Do you remember that?

Now, the latest craze are Silly Bands!  They are simply a rubber band shape, talk about genius!  It's amazing as to how something so simple can be so popular with so many kids.  Elementary kids to high school kids - there isn't an age limit on this fad.

Now kids can create their own creations with the Silly Band Factory!   With a little imagination, the possibilities are endless!  What child wouldn't love one of these?   I think I may have found the perfect birthday gift for EVERY birthday party my kids get invited to this year!

The Silly Band Factory comes with everything you need to create your very own silly bands. It includes a pegboard, pegs, multiple colored silly bands and a couple design/pattern sheets.  There are a total of 24 colored silly bands in each kit. Purple, Pink, Blue, Green and more!  There are also 3 different sizes.

The Silly Band Factory is very easy to use.  My kids had such a fun time creating and experimenting with it.  It kept them busy for almost an hour the very first time they used it.  They made simple shapes and tried their luck at more complicated designs as well.

STEP 1

 

Insert pegs into the pegboard to create the outline of a silly band shape you would like to make.

 

STEP 2

 

Thread the silly band around the pegs to form the shape. Make sure the silly band is NOT STRETCHED too tight. If you need to you can move the pegs to loosen the silly band a little bit.

STEP 3

 

Ask your parent or another grown-up to preheat the oven to 225°F. Then bake the silly band for 15 minutes. CAUTION: PARENTAL SUPERVISION REQUIRED!

STEP 4

 

Wait 5 minutes to allow the Silly Band Factory to cool down. Then remove the silly band from the pegs.

STEP 5
