Tropical Traditions: Organic Canadian Raw Honey Review & Giveaway

Over the past few months I have become a huge fan of Tropical Traditions organic coconut products.  I've had the pleasure of trying their coconut peanut butter, coconut oil, shredded coconut and most recently their Canadian raw honey. I have nothing but great things to say about the company and their organic food products.

I'll admit that when I opened my most recent Tropical Traditions box, it wasn't what I had expected.  I assumed that my honey would arrive in a squeezable container, ready to put on my kids peanut butter and honey sandwiches.  

That was not the case at all, the jar of raw honey had a hard white layer on top and the organic raw honey was much like the consistency of peanut butter.


After I got over the initial shock and confusion, I decided to give it a try.  To be honest, I was a little skeptical but, I was also pleasantly surprised!  The raw honey was thick, creamy and full of delicious flavor, it was simply amazing.  Perfect for our sandwiches, baking, in our tea and so much more!

My eight year old daughter recently has a very sore throat in addition to strep throat, I felt so sorry for her.  Guess what?!  Tropical Traditions organic raw honey helped soothe her throat on more than one occasion.  Just a spoonful is all it took to give her some much needed soothing relief!

I think I can honestly say that Tropical Traditions Organic Canadian Raw Honey is the best honey I've ever tasted!

 Tropical Traditions Organic Raw Honey has not been subjected to the heat of processing, only warmed enough to flow (same temperatures the honey would see inside the hive).
