We get season passes to Silverwood Theme Park every year, have
for the past 10 years. We live just about 15 minutes away, so it makes
it the perfect summertime activity for our family. We go for a few hours and
then come home.
The carousel is just inside the main gate at the entrance of the park. From the time our kids were little (1 1/2 years old), they knew that this ride was our very last stop in the park before heading home. It made it easy to leave the park this way - no fits! Now at ages 12 and 9, we still ride the carousel once or twice before heading home - it's a tradition!

Located in beautiful North Idaho, Silverwood Theme Park has over 65 rides, slides, shows and attractions, including four roller coasters, Boulder Beach Water Park, a steam engine train, live entertainment, restaurants, and more... One admission - both parks!

Looking back at all of the times we have gone to Silverwood Theme Park and all of the photos I have taken while we were there... we have had a lot of great times and made great family memories there!

Silverwood has grown so much from the time I was a young kid! Now it's fun to take my own daughter and let her experience some of the excitement. She loves Thunder Canyon, and of course Boulder Beach! I love watching her simply have an amazing time :)
Oh and winning would be awesome so we can afford to go back with my military husband who's never been to Silverwood when he can finally get some time off work.

Hi, My kids and I love the Polliwog Park. My little one would stay there all day long if we let him. The Lazy river would be our 2nd favorite place to spend the day. I am not big on the rides, so the little one and I stay in the water park while the hubby and older boy enjoy the rest of the park.
My family and I have been going to Silverwood for years! It's the best place ever. My favorite ride is the Aftershock. It is so thrilling and scary every time! My daughter Olivia is 8,and her favorite ride is Timber Terror. I remember when Silverwood first built Timer Terror and it was the only ride over in that corner. It was called the "Grizzly" for the first one or two years. We would love to enjoy tickets. We live in Arlington on the west side of the state, and haven't made it over yet. I love Silverwood and am torn between two rides as being my favorite! I love Aftershock, it's one of my favorite roller coasters ever!! I also love Thunder Canyon. I have fond memories of riding that ride for the first time and my little sister, very scared at first, screaming "I LOVE THIS RIDE!" at the top of her lungs. We went on it again and again.

I haven't been to Silverwood forever. But, my favorite ride at the time was Thunder Canyon. Always loved trying to soak people that were trying to stay dry. You're on a water ride for crying out loud! I really hope to make it to Scareywood this year.

My sister and brother in law recently moved to Pullman, and it allowed us to take our first visit to Silverwood, since they were a great jumping off point. We loved the Polliwog Park, the wave pools, and the steam train. Silverwood was a lot of fun for our whole family!

I have lived in Spokane for over three years now and have never been to Silverwood so I can't say what ride is my favorite. Though after watching some awesome videos of the construction of the newest ride, SpinCycle, I would probably ride that one first.

I would love to win so that I can go with my family. I haven't really been since circa 1999. It was something we enjoyed and used to be able to earn tickets to annually for good grades from a school I used to attend.
I went in 2011 but due to circumstances only were able to stay for about 4 hrs and weren't able to fully enjoy or see all the new stuff.

I love the Panic Plunge because for the longest time, you are going up and up and you see the whole great view of the park (Especially at night). Then "click" and woosh! You are back down in 2 seconds. I love the feeling and rush. It's just great!
This year has been hard for my family and i. We have had so many conflicts with money and had to say no to silverwood this year. Silverwood is our vacation tradition. We would really like these tickets for free to help lower the cost for our family of 7. We absolutely love silverwood and prefer it over disneyland, and that is much closer to us than SW. :D

I first went to Silverwood when it wasn't even a 'theme park.' I rode an elephant and the train there. The train is still my favorite since it brings back childhood memories.
My family goes several times a year... my middle son (4 yrs old) loves the "giant coasters" and hates being banished to kiddie land... until the promise of water park fun is heard... we also go to the awesome scareywood event... fun to be had all year round!

I want to win this because My best friend and I love Silverwood. We like to Scare ourselves with the biggest adrenaline and enjoy trying new things. We went with our School from Libby, Montana and absolutely loved the Spin Cycle. I was scared at first and told everyone I'd never ride that in my life..LATER THAT DAY..just rode the Spin Cycle 2 times going back for more. I loved it. We love Silverwood! The kids earn tickets through their school reading program every year, and so it makes it a great celebration for our family. We always go the week or two before school starts, as and end of the summer celebration. And now the kids are big enough to go on the rollercoasters, so they love it even more!
Why do I want to win? I would love to be able to take my parents with us to Silverwood, and then we could really have a great family day. The kids already get their tickets from the school, but we still have to pay for my husband and I, and being able to take the kids' grandparents would be really neat for the kids - I love family memories!

I have been going to Silverwood since I was a young child. I am excited to share this place with my children. My favorite thing to do there is Boulder Beach-it's so nice to float down the lazy river and slide down the family friendly slide.

I always enjoyed the steam engine train that goes around the whole park and the little show that goes along with it!
Silverwood is a nice, local family vacation spot. I usually try to go at least once during the warm summer months for Boulder Beach, and then again in the fall for Scarywood. If I can make it three times per year, then I'll do a day of just the regular theme park rides. I think spreading your time out like this is the best, as it's difficult (and exhausting) to try to do both the rides and the water park on the same day.
We LOVE Silverwood. Have been going every year for a long time. We usually buy a gold pass, but we couldn't this year. We would love to go at least once this year and try out the new ride.

We dont live anywhere near Silverwood but we went there in the summer of '11. I was pregnant and couldnt do anything but watch my family ride and have fun. I did enjoy alot of other things. I want to go back now that im able to ride all these awesome rides I keep hearing about and seen a couple years ago.
We just went yesterday and had a blast! I really enjoyed the spin cycle and my kids like the spinning rides like the tilt a whirl and the scrambler. My husband is a fan of the roller coasters. I only found out about Silverwood Park six weeks ago and immediately worked it into our road trip vacation.
We planned to attend on a Friday and Saturday so we could spend a full day at Boulder Beach and the rides. Sadly we could only attend on the Saturday as the Friday poured rain all day, so we will have to save Boulder Beach for next year. We had so much fun on the rides and eating lots of funnel cake! We can't wait to visit again next year!

My family and I have gone to Silverwood for years...since my oldest boys were probably 9 and 10, now they are 19 and 20! We arrive and we start with a carousel ride, then we plan our next move from there....which always involves a stop at the Candy Store and then a train ride. This year was the first year we went without our two oldest boys. It was bittersweet! They are grown now and have partners. Our two youngest boys, my husband and I took our time walking around the park, checking out the new rides and we even got to stop at the High Moon Saloon! We had a blast! We talked about gathering a group of people for next year, including our oldest children, and spending a day or two at Silverwood. It would be a blast! Nothing like family time!
My 8 year old's favorite ride is Spin Cycle, she finds it "relaxing". My 6 year old loves the water park. My 3 year old could live in the kiddie park, and can't wait to ride the real roller coasters, if you can get him off of Tilt-a-Whirl. We love our annual trip to Silverwood. Wish it was only 15 mins away for us, we'd live there all summer too!

Cork Screw was always my favorite as a kid, but now at close to 30 I have a neck problem due to MD so I can't ride it. I think my favorite now is the Lazy River! lol
My 7yr old is in love with Tremors, its nuts to me who hates the big drop rollercoasters.
Gosh, I love Silverwood. It was our last fun trip we had before our daughter was born last year. We haven't had the funds to attend this year and that makes me sadface. :( Would love so much to win and be able to go before the season is over.. My favorite attraction? The lazy river, for sure!
For the past four years we have gone every year but we couldn't afford it this year! Its a great place to bring your family and enjoy the water, rides and food!
Thunder Canyon is my favorite ride. I like to go on it first thing and then at night before we leave. I never get tired of it.
My boyfriend and I took a trip to Silverwood last Saturday and it was my first time there in 6 years and I had a blast! Boulder Beach is so much fun! And the After Shock gave me a thrill of a lifetime!

We love the waterpark and the amusement park! They are so kid friendly and a blast! The amusement park tends to hold more interest for us as the waterpark is always packed! But it's all around good family fun!

Why we want to win: We haven't been to silverwood since my oldest son was 2 so 5 years. It would be so fun to just have a family day and let his little brothers see the fun!

We love roller coaster alley. Especially the parks main attraction an our personal favorite, Tremors. Its something else riding that old wooden coaster. Every bump, every jolt makes the ride that more intense.
I love Silverwood. It has so many fun rides and attractions. My favorite would have to be the Aftershock roller coaster, because of it's intense loops, corckscrews, and really tall drops!

We are big fans of Silverwood. The kids love the little roller coaster and the bumper boats best!

I want to win, because I would love to surprise 3 of my best friends with Silverwood tickets for their hard work and dedication to helping out at the Humane society and getting over 15 dogs and cats adopted this week. If I won, then I'd have a way to give something back to them for all of their hard work. And that would be the best thing in the world.
I'd love to win the tickets for a few reasons. On one hand, I haven't been there in years. My boyfriend also has never been there. It would be a perfect place for us to have fun.
My husband and I loved the lazy river when we went. We are planning another trip, which will be the first for our children. I can't wait to see how much they will enjoy it!

The new spin cycle is my favorite ride now. My 9 year old daughter loves the aftershock the most.

Tremors is my favorite, i've been enjoying Silverwood's awesome rides yearly but haven't been able to go for the past 2, really hoping to go after summer quarter of college ends. It would be so nice to get away and take a break since I didn't get the summer off.

MUST HAVES: kettle corn, caramel apples, dippin dots and huckleberry funnel cakes, YUM!! Our last trip didn't go so well, it was supposed to be sunny and 91 degrees, but it ended up being windy, rainy and in the 70's.... it was way too cold to go to the water park and it was very disappointing :( Best of luck to everyone!
