My Nutrisystem Weight Loss Journey: Week 14

I'll admit that I've always thought scales were EVIL! Even if I worked hard and put out my best effort, the number on the scale doesn't always reflect that. At one point during me weight loss journey, I was literally addicted to the scale! I was weighing myself every time I walked past it, sometimes making a special trip. I was weighing myself so often (10 - 15 times a day) that I was obsessed and driving myself crazy!

Since starting my weight loss journey with Nutrisystem, I have changed the relationship I have with my scale. I weigh myself first thing Monday mornings and that seems to work best for me!

During my 14th week on the Nutrisystem program, I lost...

  2.8 pounds!

That brings my total weight loss to 36.2 pounds!

I took a friends advice and with the help of my daughter, I have given my scale a name! From the time my daughter was 3 years old she has given her baby dolls the very same name.  She told me to name my scale the same, and when I looked up the meaning of the name and it was PERFECT!

My scale's name is Maddie which it means strength in battle. Losing weight is a battle in itself but with strength, I can and will win by reaching my goal!

Keep it up. I had the same problem with the scale. When I started really working out and eating right, I went to once weekly because I saw how much it could change in a day.

Congratulations, and keep up the great work! I would get so discouraged by looking at the scale until I realized that I was weighing myself at different times during the day. Once a week at the same time each week is perfect!

Way to go on your weight loss! That is wonderful and I love that you gave your scale a name.

I have to admit I have intrigued with this program and I'll keep it in mind. Thanks!

Way to go! That has got to look and feel good! I love the naming of the scale.
I weigh myself every few days. I'm pregnant and gained quite a few pounds really quickly in the middle of my 2nd trimester so I just want to make sure I don't go overboard. LOL

First of all congrats on your progress and goals. I weight my self daily, I try not to, but I can not help it. It's usually first thing in the morning. I like the Idea of nameing the scale lol I may just have to come up with one myself.
