Family movie night is something we look forward to every week. We love spending time as a family and watching movies that make us laugh (and sometimes cry). Hearing my children laugh is one of my favorite sounds in the world, so funny movies are always among our favorites.
Between busy school schedules and unpredictable winter weather, the one thing we can all count on is some nice family time together at home. Why not avoid the cold and long movie lines and curl up with a family-friendly flick that everyone, from kids to mom and dad, will enjoy: Horrid Henry The Movie!
Horrid Henry is one of the funniest movies we have seen in a long time. We couldn't believe some of the things Henry did - but he was very entertaining. Of course, if my kids were to try to pull some of those same stunts, I probably wouldn't as thrilled!
I think that we can all relate to Horrid Henry in one way or another. Whether we know someone like him, or acted like him as children - or maybe deep down inside you wanted to be like him but were to afraid of the consequences. This movie will have your entire family laughing!
When Henry fails yet again to hand in his homework for the umpteenth time, he inadvertently sets off an unexpected and curious chain of events. He forms an unlikely alliance with Moody Margaret, the infuriating girl next door, wins a talent contest, and stands up to his ultimate nemesis. With each antic crazier than the last, Henry finds himself inexplicably trying to save the very school which he has always professed to hate!
With a run time of 93 minutes, Horrid Henry is rated PG for some silly humor, and features a rocking soundtrack including Katy Perry, The Saturdays and LMFAO’s Party Rock Anthem and will be sure to get everyone on their feet dancing!
The movie stars the illustrious Anjelica Huston and newcomer, Theo Stevenson, as the title character. On March 12, 2013, the limited edition DVD, which features a non-toxic, upholstery-friendly “slime pack,” will be available exclusively at Walmart stores for about $15!
