Weight Loss Tip: Drink Cucumber Water

I'm sure you are all aware that you should be drinking a minimum of eight 8 ounce glasses of water each day.  


Cucumber water is both refreshing and good for you!  The longer the sliced cucumber floats in the water, the more flavor and nutrients enter the water.  Cucumber water contains vitamin C, vitamin K, vitamin A, potassium, fiber, and calcium.  Its also a diuretic, which aids in water retention.

Making cucumber water is as easy as 1...2...3!

1.  Fill a pitcher with water
2. Slice an entire cucumber and add it to the water
3.  Refrigerate overnight... ENJOY!

Yes! I do enjoy a few slices of cucumber and lemon or mint depending on what I have on hand.

Always a great way to naturally flavor water without sugar.

Can u leave skin off or on? Does it matter in terms of effectiveness? Easy enough way to make drinking daily water a bit easier

Okay.. what kind of cukes? Regular or the English seedless style... peel on or off?

I'm looking for ways to jazz up my water and I see this often and would love to try it!

I just use regular cucumbers and leave the skins on. However, you can use ANY kind of cucumber and it's up to you whether to leave skins on or off! :)

Yes, I love cucumber water. I usually drink water plain, but adding cucumber is a great incentive to really enjoy a refreshing cup of water more often. Plus, it adds all the nutrients! I will definitely try this trick at home.

I've always been a fan of cucumbers but have never tried this before. I drink a lot of water, sometimes up to 1 1/2 gallons a day in the summer! This would help to break up the basic flavor.

cucumber water! I like to change it up every now and them by adding strawberries to it and I also make water with lemon. It is so refreshing down here in Florida!
