Cascade Platinum Action Pacs ~ Skip the Pre-Wash

This review was made possible by Double Duty Divas and Cascade. I was provided the featured product free of charge to facilitate my review, but all opinions are 100% mine.

Growing up, we didn't have an automatic dishwasher to clean our dishes.  My siblings and I took turns washing the daily dishes as one of our chores.  I didn't get a dishwasher until my husband and I purchased our first house together, 14 years ago.  I was so excited and couldn't wait to use it for the very first time.

A couple of my favorite perks of using Cascade Platinum action pacs is that they have the grease fighting power of Dawn, and I don't have to pre-wash my dishes! After all, the whole idea behind using a dishwasher is not having to wash your dishes by hand.  Right?  I love unloading the dishwasher without having to re-wash any of the dishes inside.

In order to get the most optimum clean and shine, it’s important to skip the pre-wash and use Cascade Platinum. This is because the special enzymes in Cascade Platinum latch onto the leftover food particles, breaking them down so they can wash away - even 24-hour stuck on food. With no food particles on the dishes, the enzymes can’t do their job as well and this can lead to dish issues.

A recent Marie Claire survey of Cascade Platinum revealed people have a big opportunity to improve their dishwasher regimen.  I was quite surprised by some of the survey results.

KEY SURVEY FINDINGS
  • Nearly half (46%) of survey respondents believe that skipping the pre-wash will lead to dirtier dishes. When in reality, breaking this habit – and skipping pre-wash – along with using Cascade Platinum, will help them achieve the ultimate clean and sparkle every time.
  • Two-thirds (65%) of survey respondents organize their dishwashers just like their closets – with everything stacked in its rightful spot.
  • Almost half (42%) of respondents have actually gone so far as to re-load the dishwasher after their family goes to bed because they did not think their family member(s) did it right the first time.
  • More than half (56%) of respondents load their dishwashers after each meal.
  • The majority of survey respondents (57%) cringe at the thought of hosting a party because of spotted wine glasses.
  • So if people stop pre-washing, how would they spend all that time they’ve saved? Almost half of those surveyed (46%) said they’d spend it shopping on line.

I  highly encourage you all to try Cascade Platinum for yourself!  Cascade Platinum is available in two refreshing scents, that will leave you entire kitchen smelling clean and fresh: Fresh and Lemon Burst.

I would like to try the Platinum Pacs. I sometimes run the dishwasher and the plates or silverware come out with food particles stuck on them. I'd like to see if this helps.
Thanks!

My least favorite thing about doing the dishes is unloading the dishwasher.

I don't mind doing dishes when there are regular dishes in the sink. What I really hate are the pots and pans with baked on greasy messes. Yuck!

We use Cascade products but haven't tried (or seen) the dishwasher cleaner. I'm interested in trying that one out.

I absolutely hate washing the bigger dishes, especially the ones that have been in the oven. They seem to be the hardest to wash.
