Back to School: Free, Educational Eco-Friendly Fundraisers

Families across the country are gearing up for another busy back to school season. TerraCycle wants to remind you not to forget Mother Nature in the hustle and bustle of getting the kids back into “school mode.”

TerraCycle’s free recycling fundraisers are perfect for schools or families nationwide. Whether your kids are in the classroom, the lunchroom, or even their playroom at home, TerraCycle can help them learn about the environment while also earning money for their school.

Between TerraCycle’s long-standing programs for food and beverage packaging and new launches like Logitech (to collect e-waste), they have plenty of recycling options for the home, classroom, lunch room and beyond!

Back-to-School:

Staying Green Through the Fall With Eco-Friendly School Lunches

Packing lunches for school can take a toll on being “green,” but TerraCycle makes it simple to stay eco-friendly and keep lunch tasty and easy. TerraCycle offers upcycled and recycled lunchboxes for students, made from the very trash they collect, as well as notebooks, pencil cases, binders, folders, and backpacks. Students can enjoy snacks from popular brands including Frito-Lay, Capri Sun, Nabisco, Kraft Cheese, and GoGo squeeZ, and then sign up for a Brigade, send in trash for free, and earn two cents for every item of trash we receive from them.
