Marie Callender’s Three Meat and Four Cheese Lasagna

According to research from the NPD Group, people are eating more frozen lasagna than homemade these days – and Marie Callender’s Three Meat and Four Cheese Lasagna is a yummy, easy dinner solution. It has a unique baking tray that minimizes burnt edges and cold spots and cooks the meal in just 19 minutes in the microwave.

What sets Marie Callender’s Three Meat and Four Cheese Lasagna apart is its unique ingredients together with innovative baking tray that creates a homemade taste in minutes.

  • The lasagna includes three Italian-style meats (sausage, ground beef and pepperoni), layered with four different cheeses (Ricotta, Mozzarella, Parmesan and Romano), in a hearty marinara sauce that cooks in the microwave and is ready to serve in just 19 minutes, faster than the competition.

  • Not all lasagna is created equal. According to a national taste test, Marie Callender’s Three Meat and Four Cheese Lasagna is preferred over Stouffer’s 19 oz. Lasagna with Meat & Sauce by consumers two to one.   Marie Callender’s delicious blend of meats and cheeses combined with its unique baking tray creates a homemade tasting meal you can be proud to serve to your family.

Our Thoughts:

One of my families favorite meals is lasagna and my kids always get so excited when they know that's what we're having for dinner.   Of course lasagna wouldn't be complete without garlic bread or dinner rolls.

Earlier this week we had the pleasure of having Marie Callender’s Three Meat and Four Cheese Lasagna for dinner.

As it was baking in the oven the entire house was filled with an amazing aroma.  I was crossing my fingers that it tasted as good as (or better than) is smelled.  The kids kept walking into the kitchen - sniffing and saying "Ahhhhh" as they walked past the oven.  So far so good!

But how was it going to taste?

Was Marie Callender’s Three Meat and Four Cheese Lasagna going to satisfy my hungry and picky husband?  Afterall, it's not the lasagna he's used to eating and he doesn't like change too much.

It was DELICIOUS!  The kids didn't leave a single crumb behind on their plate, I thought it was perfect and my husband ate all of his too.  Any meal that my entire family will eat without complaining and without leaving any leftovers is a huge success in my book!

It was the perfect size for our family.

Marie Callender’s Three Meat and Four Cheese Lasagna was full of mouth-watering flavor.  You could taste the spices and meat in every single bite.  The noodles were the perfect texture and there was the perfect amount of cheese and sauce.

As a busy mom I love the fact that Marie Callender’s Three Meat and Four Cheese Lasagna can be prepared both in the microwave and in the oven.  This time I chose the conventional oven to prepare our lasagna.  It was hot and ready to eat in exactly 1 hour.

Sometimes a quick microwave meal is all that I have time for and it's comforting knowing that I can give them a hot meal that is almost as good as homemade!  Under 20 minutes for a hot meal is something that I can manage on those hectic and busy nights!

We were highly pleased with our Marie Callender’s Three Meat and Four Cheese Lasagna and I will be purchasing a couple of them to put in our freezer.  In fact, my children are already asking when we can have it again!
