$20 Kohl’s Cash - Clearance Deals: Spent $0.84 - Saved $64

Today I did something that I haven't done in a very long time... I bought some new clothes for myself!  That's right!  I don't know what came over me, but I actually managed to get out of the store without putting them back and buying something for the kids instead!  I'm actually pretty proud of myself.

My $20 Kohl’s Cash Shopping Trip:

Workout Tee on clearance at Kohl’s for $6.99 (Regular price $14)
Knit Long Sleeve Tee on clearance for $6.00 (Regular price $20)
Sportswear Tee on clearance for $3.00 (Regular price $15)
Knit Long Sleeve Tee on clearance for $4.80 (Regular price $16)

- $20 Kohl’s cash

Tax $0.05
Total out of pocket $0.84
Total saved $64.21

Just $0.21 EACH!

In addition, I also purchased myself a pair of workout pants at JCP.  I had a $10 off $10 purchase coupon, and wanted to combine that with an item that was on clearance to maximize my savings.

I ended up choosing a pair of workout pants that were normally $27, that were on clearance for $12.  After using my coupon, I had to pay a grand total of $2.12.  My entire day of clearance shopping with coupons added a new pair of pants and 4 new shirts to my wardrobe, for a grand total of $2.96!

Have you taken advantage of any recent clearance deals?
