As much as I tend to stress about my weight on the scale, I know that weight loss is about so much more. There are so many different factors that dictate weight loss, weight gain, and maintaining weight.
Here are a few of my personal non-scale victories over the past nine weeks:
- Fitting into smaller sizes ~ all of my clothes are fitting loose and I need to wear a belt! Looks like I'll be going shopping very soon for new clothes --- smaller clothes!!
- Smiling more ~ I'm happier with how I look and feel!
- Setting a great example for my kids ~ I want them to learn the importance of being active and eating healthy!
- Increasing energy ~ I'm not nearly as tired as I used to be and I can do so much more without losing my breath!
During week 9 on the Nutrisystem program, I lost... 0.5 pounds.
- Week 1: -4.6 pounds
- Week 2: -0.6 pounds
- Week 3: -1 pound
- Week 4: -0
- Week 5: -2.2 pounds
- Week 6: -1.3 pounds
- Week 7: - 1 pound
- Week 8: -1.1 pounds
- Week 9: -0.5
That brings my total weight loss to 12.2 pounds!
Now it's time to prepare myself to successfully get through the holiday temptations without gaining weight...
