NMEDA Helps Put People With Disabilities in the Drivers Seat!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of NMEDA for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
Chances are that most of us know someone with a disability.  Did you know that no two people with a disability are exactly the same?  Even if they have the same disability, they will someone deal, cope and/or manage it differently.
Imagine how you would feel if your freedom and ability to drive yourself around were suddenly taken away.  Wouldn't you want someone on  your side to help you get back in the driver's seat?  You may be thinking to yourself that something like this could never happen to your or someone you know.  Anything is possible and while you hope it will never happen, it never hurts to be educated and prepared.
NMEDA is a non-profit trade association of mobility equipment manufacturers, dealers, driver rehabilitation specialists, and other professionals dedicated to improving the lives of people with disabilities and assisting with driving independence using wheelchair accessible vans, truck and cars.

NMEDA helps put people with disabilities in the drivers seat.  Helping them lead happy and active lives.  Originally formed in Florida, NMEDA branched out nationally in 1989 and has grown to a membership of more than 600.   With members throughout the United States and Canada.  They have helped so many people and are ready to help many more.  They are just a click or a phone call away.
NMEDA isn't going to sell you anything, how refreshing is that.  They are simply put into place in order to help individuals and families to promote safe driving and safety standards for people with disabilities and/or the elderly.  NMEDA is striving to unite and improve the mobility equipment industry for those people with life changing disabilities.
In addition to NMEDA dealers, there are also a QAP available.  The Quality Assurance Program (QAP) is a recognized accreditation program for the mobility equipment industry. The program was developed to promote quality, safety, and reliability within the industry.
Maybe it's your parents, grandparents, neighbor or a friend of the family.  If you know someone who could benefit from NMEDA, please contact them for more information.  Chances are there is a dealer near you and they are waiting for your call and eager to help put you on the right path.
