It's National Boys & Girls Club Week: Open the Door to a Child's Future!

As a mother, it's important to me that my children have access to programs that will encourage and support their dreams and ambitions.  Every parent wants their child to flourish, be happy and follow their dreams.

I'm a firm believer that it is extremely important to make learning fun.  Letting children experiment, trouble shoot, and get involved with hands on learning can make a world of difference!

I recently learned that nearly 4,000 Boys & Girls Clubs throughout the United States, its territories and on U.S. military installations around the world open their doors to help youth find their great futures. Through fun, educational and innovative programs, their Clubs help kids and teens meet their full potential.

Did you know that April 7th – 13th is National Boys & Girls Club Week?  As part of the special celebration you are invited to "Open The Door & Take Take The Tour" and take part in the Blue Door Decorating Duel where you can vote for your favorite decorated BGCA blue door. The winning club will receive a $5,000 Lowe’s gift card!

Visit the BGCA site for more information and learn how you can help support National Boys & Girls Club Week and be sure to "like" BGCA on Facebook. You can also follow on Twitter @BGCA_Clubs.

While I've never had any personal experiences with the Boys & Girls Club of America, I've heard nothing but amazing stories.  I love the fact that they are so readily available to so many children across the United States for education and support.  These kinds of programs can be the bridge between failure and success for so many kids!

Do you or a family member have a personal connection with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America?

I wrote this review while participating in a campaign for Mom Central Consulting on behalf of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. I received a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.

Yes! So glad the Girls and Boys club is active in our small community. It has made a huge difference having a great/safe place for our kids to be able to go to after school. Thanks for the info.
