My Nutrisystem Weight Loss Journey - Week 2


My son was attending a wrestling camp, so we were out of town the majority of the week (Sunday - Friday).  I took my prepackaged Nutrisystem meals for the week with me and stuck to the plan!

Coming into week 2, I knew that I wasn't going to see the same 6.6 pound weight loss that I saw in week 1, but I was determined to keep myself motivated and focused.  I've promised myself to keep my chin up no matter how little of a loss - after all, any loss at all is one step closer to reaching my weight loss goal.

Again this week, everything was delicious!  I'll be honest... I really didn't think that the food was going to taste as good as it does and I'm highly impressed.  Of course, my weakness has always been chocolate, so it comes as no surprise that my favorite item this week was a dessert. 

The thin mint crisp bar is to die for! As soon as you open the wrapper of this chocolate, crispy bar, you can smell the peppermint. 

This sweet, minty bar is coated with milk chocolate and topped with rich, fudgy morsels. Delicious!        

During my 2nd week on the Nutrisystem program, I lost...

2 pounds!

That brings my total weight loss to 8.6 pounds!  It's only been two weeks, but I'm already noticing a difference in the way my mid-section looks and the way my shorts are fitting.  In addition, my husband has also commented on the difference - he can see (and feel) it!  It's things like this that keep me motivated!

I love the double chocolate almond cookie and I love making strawberry shortcake with the golden pound cake, fresh strawberries and a tbs of fat free cool whip.....yummy!
