Firefly Flashing Toothbrush Review

Teaching children about dental hygiene at a young age is critical.  In fact, you should start brushing your child's gums before their first tooth even breaks through.  We all know that we should brush and floss our teeth atleast twice a day.  As a mom, I know it's not always easy to get young children to stay focused long enough to do a good job at brushing their teeth.  They are so busy and this just doesn't seem as important to them as the toys in the other room.

I was recently given the opportunity to review a flashing Firefly toothbrush.  When I first showed my 6 1/2 year old daughter her new red toothbrush, she was thrilled because it was her favorite color.  Then, I showed her that it lit up and flashed and her excitement doubled!

Her comment, "Oh Yay, I want to brush my teeth in the dark.  Can I?  Please Mommy!"

The Firefly toothbrush encourages children to brush their teeth by making brushing fun!  The toothbrush lights up and blinks for a 1 full minute, the amount of time that dentists recommend for children to brush each row of teeth.  Simply press the bottom of the Firefly toothbrush and the light show begins.  One cycle for the top teeth and another for the bottom.

Still not convinced that your child will love the Firefly?  This flashing toothbrush comes in 6 brilliant colors: red, yellow, green, bluepink and clear.  They also include several popular characters, such as: Spiderman, Barbie, Snoopy, Scooby Doo, Hello Kitty and many more!

My daughter's favorite thing about her Firefly toothbrush is the fact that it blinks.  I love the fact that they are the perfect size for little hands, making it easy (and fun) for them to brush themselves.  They are also affordable, just $1 each.

No matter what the age of your child, Firefly has a toothbrush for them.  From ages 4 months to 8+ years old.  As a matter of fact, Firefly is the best selling kids toothbrush in America.  Firefly toothbrushes are sold in stores nationwide, including Target, Toys R' Us, Wal Mart and Walgreens.  You can even purchase them online at retailers such as Amazon.
